2003 Target: T.J. Paterick

T.J. Paterick, a 6'1, 175 pound point guard from Nease High School (FLA), currently has a top five of UConn, Stanford, Florida, Wisconsin and Ohio State.
A native of Wisconsin, Paterick has particularly followed the play of fellow Wisconsin native Caron Butler of UConn this past year. "I think they (UConn) have a great team," said Paterick. "I consider them among the top ten schools in the nation."

Paterick led St. Augustine high school to the Class 3A state championship this past year behind 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals per game. He considers himself to be a strong shooting point guard, though he prefers to discuss his ability to get others involved in the offense. As a recent transfer to St. Augustine, Paterick has enjoyed the team's pressing style of defense and now considers the press one of his strengths.
Paterick will be travelling with the Fox Valley Skillz AAU team this summer. You can expect to see him at traditional summer hot-spots such as the Eastern Invitational, Big Time, Bob Gibbons, and possibly ABCD.
