2003 Target: Ouma Sylla

It's likely that many college coaches will travel to Long Island over the next year to scout the incredible amount of young talent on the Our Savior American team. One of the players coaches are scouting is Ouma Sylla, a 6-7, 185-pound junior swingman from Our Savior American in Centereach, New York (Long Island).
Sylla said he is looking forward to this season and it appears Our Savior has a very competitive schedule again this season. "I want to improve my strength," Sylla said. "I am working (in weight room)."

Sylla said he is wide open but he recently called Syracuse to see if the Orangemen are interested in his skills. They are. It's likely that Sylla, who also told us he is also interested in Big East schools St. John's, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Connecticut, and Villanova, will get some serious evaluation time over the next six months.
"I am open," Sylla said. "I am just learning about these schools."
We will have much more on Sylla throughout the year here on rivalshoops.com
