2003 Target: Demetris Nichols
Demetris Nichols, the 6-7 swingman from St. Andrew's High School in Barrington, Rhode Island, had a good trip to Villanova, according to his coach, Mike Hart. It appears the Wildcats have made up significant ground on the leaders -- Syracuse. But was it enough?
"He told me he liked the school (Villanova) and the visit," Hart said. "They certainly have a chance to get Demetris."

But Syracuse still leads? "Yes," Hart said. "Right now it appears that way."
Hart told us that Nichols plans on taking a day trip to Providence on April 22nd. "I think he will stick with his plan," Hart said. "I think he will make up his mind by May 1st."
But other sources tell us that Nichols may be prepared to make a decision perhaps even this week. If he were to make a decision today, our sources close to Nichols indicate he would verbal to the Orangemen.
