Sam Kaplan, a 6-6, 225-pound forward/guard from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, has 12 offers on the table from division one programs, according to head coach Mo Cassara.
Cassara told us today that Pennsylvania, Princeton, Yale, William & Mary, Davidson, Maine, Boston University, Fairfield, Bucknell, Holy Cross, Siena, and Hartford have told Kaplan they would help him out with a scholarship.
Cassara also told us that Rhode Island, George Washington, Boston College, and Providence have also expressed some interest.
Kaplan, who has played at Worcester since he was a freshman, is just 16-years old but getting better. Rivalshoops.com saw Kaplan play seven times this past season. During his time frame, Kaplan seems more comfortable in spotting up and taking his jumper.
If Kaplan has a great summer, his recruiting might edge up a level.
