The latter half of this week is shaping up to be big in the recruiting world. James Blackmon is the third five-star scheduled to announce his college decision.
A 6-foot-3 shooting guard at Marion (Ind.) High who currently ranks No. 23 in the class of 2014, Blackmon will announce his college choice on Thursday night.
Rumors had swirled on Monday and Tuesday that the elite shooter was near a decision. That can now be confirmed will announce his decision live on ESPNU.
Blackmon originally committed to Indiana before playing a high school game. Then a few months ago he backed off that commitment in order to explore his other options.
After official visits to Kentucky (where his father played) and Michigan along with unofficials to Indiana, Michigan State and Louisville, most of the focus is revolving around the Wildcats, Hoosiers and Wolverines.
Before Blackmon makes his decision on Thursday night, five-stars Devin Robinson and Kevon Looney will announce on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
