The visit with Russell

April 25, 2013 - Yesterday at 3p (a fact first reported on our Premium Court message board, along with his primary recruiter), Georgetown visited Class of 2014 guard D'Angelo Russell at his Montverde Academy (FL) school. For the record, it was head coach John Thompson III who traveled to see the talented, 6'4" performer.

What did they talk about, and how did Russell receive the visit? Again, Premium Court has the answers.

Russell, originally from Louisville, KY, is a versatile guard capable of playing both guard positions - basically he's a combo that can score, dime, and defend. A lefty, Russell also has picked up his leadership impact, all of which were detailed here, yesterday.

Rivals.com has him ranked 22nd nationally, in the Class of 2014.
