Video: Lewis locks down Five-Star 7-on-7

Detroit Cass Tech cornerback Jourdan Lewis was one of the few players outside the Rivals100 invited to participate in the Five-Star Challenge, but at the event, he staked his claim for a move up the rankings. He was most impressive during Sunday's 7-on-7 competition.

During the course of four games, Lewis was only targeted in man coverage 13 times. Since each team threw about 75 passes per game, it's clear that opposing quarterbacks were afraid to throw his way. On those passes, he allowed only three receptions, while collecting an interception and breaking up five more passes.

In zone coverage, quarterbacks passed into Lewis' zone four times (he also left his zone once to make a play on the ball). On those passes, Lewis allowed three receptions - including one touchdown - and broke up one pass.
