Wednesday marked the start of the spring signing period for basketball - as well as other sports - but it also was the day that Rivals.com released the final Rivals150 rankings for the 2012 class.
Arizona held the No. 1 overall team recruiting ranking spot before Wednesday's list was released and the Wildcats received an added boost from Grant Jerrett.
The power forward prospect from La Verne (Calif.) Lutheran made a huge jump up the list moving from No. 50 to No. 15 overall. Along with his move up the rankings, Jerrett also received a fifth star to give Sean Miller's squad three five-star recruits overall.
Each of the Wildcats' four players on the list made moves from their previous spots Wednesday.
Future UA center Kaleb Tarczewski - who was already a five-star recruit - made a move into the top 10 after jumping up 11 spots to No. 9 overall on the list.
The final five-star member of the group is Brandon Ashley, who was previously a five-star recruit the last time around. However unlike his future teammate, Ashley dropped 10 spots on the list from No. 13 overall to No. 23 overall.
All four members of the group finished the year in the top 50, and rounding out the list was Orange (Calif.) Lutheran guard Gabe York. The talented scorer dropped from 31st on the list to 46th in the final rankings.
