Humphries Impressive in USA Opener

Kris Humphries FPFuture Blue Devil Kris Humphries and Team USA were in action for the first time last night against the Dominican Republic. In a game that was never in doubt, Humphries logged an impressive stat line as the Americans prevailed 109-70 in the eight team Americas junior qualifying tournament.

Humphries ended the game with 11 points (on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from the free throw line) and six rebounds in 19 minutes of action for the Americans.

Team USA will next face Mexico on Thursday, followed by Argentina on Friday. The top two teams from each group will advance to the medal semifinals on Saturday, and the gold and bronze medal games will be played on Sunday.
