Strengths: Davidson has excellent physical attributes. He is 6'11 and has very good athleticism, mobility, and coordination. He has a nice touch on the offensive end, which he exhibits with his mid-post game. He can hit the mid-range jumper out to around 15 feet. Defensively, Davidson is a good shot-blocker because of his physical tools, and the same can be said for his rebounding.
Weaknesses: Davidson shies away from contact in the post and doesn't always play to his strengths. He can drift at times, and he can occasionally force up tough shots. Davidson lacks toughness on defense and the boards, relying too much on his physical tools and not on fundamentals. He also could use more strength, both in his lower and upper body.
Outlook: Players with Davidson's combination of size and skill usually get plenty of chances in the NBA, and he could be drafted anywhere in the second round. He's likely to be sent to the D-League initially, where he will need to work on the finer aspects of his game and add strength.
