UPDATED: Glover talks Badger pledge

News on the Wisconsin basketball team is continuing to pour in during a hectic 72 hours in Madison.

While the status of Vander Blue and newly-offered Cameron Wright remains uncertain, head coach Bo Ryan received some good news Thursday morning when Jeremy Glover of Oakton (VA) Flint Hill School gave his verbal pledge to join the UW basketball program.

The news was confirmed via a text message sent from Glover to BadgerBlitz.com just a few minutes ago.

The 2009 prospect will join Mike Bruesewitz and Diamond Taylor on campus next fall as a walk-on, with the possibility of earning a scholarship in 2010.

As a senior at Flint Hill, Glover, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard, averaged 17.4 points per game, 6.3 rebounds, and two assists per game as a senior.
