Oyedeji improves game, shakes up list

Houston Bellaire forward Tobi Oyedeji is dealing with a disappointing first round exit in the Texas Class 5A state tournament by getting back on the court in the AAU circuit with Houston Hoops. This past weekend, Oyedeji helped lead Hoops to the semifinals of the Next Level Ballers AAU tournament in Frisco.

And he did it in a much different way.

The 6-foot-9, 180-pound Rivals.com four-star prospect used to be a defensive presence and rebounding machine that got most of his points on putbacks and plays around the basket. Now, Oyedeji can stray away from the basket and has added a solid jump shot to go along with a face-up game. Leave he take a midrange jump shot and he'll bury. Play him close at 15 feet, and Oyedeji will put the ball on the floor and posterize you on the way to the basket - with either hand.

Oyedeji has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Baylor, UCLA, Arizona State, Louisville, LSU, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma among others.
