UVa to host 2011 hoops standout this weekend

The Virginia men's basketball staff has focused the majority of its recent recruiting attention on underclassmen and the Cavaliers will play host this weekend to one of the top 2011 prospects on the East Coast.

Wilmington (Del.) Sanford shooting guard Trevor Cooney, who is already piling up impressive offers, will be in Charlottesville to take in a UVa hoops workout, as well as Virginia's football game with East Carolina.

And the trip to UVa won't be the only one this weekend for the 6-foot-3, 185-pounder. Cooney will also be at Wake Forest tonight for the Demon Deacons' home football game with Clemson.
