Cyclones along for the Buycks ride

Ottumwa (Iowa) Indian Hills Community College guard prospect Dwight Buycks has numerous scholarship offers on his plate from high majors all over the country. The problem is he's not exactly sure who those schools are.

"Really I don't know who I actually have offers from but I'm getting a lot of attention from schools," Buycks said.

A handful of those schools happen to be Iowa State, Marquette, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Missouri. Buycks did know that he has an offer from the Iowa State Cyclones, who happen to have one of Buycks' closest friends Diante Garrett on their roster.

"That's my man right there. We are real cool and have played a lot together," Buycks said. "For us to play together, that would be tough for a lot of people. That would be good." Buycks has also developed a great relationship with Iowa State assistant coach T.J. Otzelberger.

"He's a nice fella, he seems pretty cool," Buycks said. "They are real competitive over there (in Ames). They like to compete and I like that."
