Prosser closer to a decision?

In early March, Jordan Prosser made his way to Iowa City for the Hawkeyes final home game and at the time he said he would like to narrow the field of schools he was considering in the coming weeks. As we reach the end of the month, has the four star prospect in the 2009 class moved closer to a decision?

"I really haven't gotten much closer," Prosser said. "I am still looking at all the schools who are involved."

Iowa and Wisconsin has been consistent with their contact and a couple of new schools are showing interest in the 6-foot-8 forward who is currently ranked by as the 93rd best player in the Class of 2009.

"Purdue and Baylor have been calling more in recent weeks," he said. "It's hard to say right now as far as top schools, but I like Wisconsin (offer), Purdue (not offered) and Iowa (offer). Those are the three schools I talk to the most."

Prosser says that he will be attending Iowa's Elite Camp in June and he will be playing with Indiana Elite's AAU program this spring and summer. He says his decision-making process will come down to a variety of factors.

"I am looking at each schools style of play and if I can be an impact type player in the program. I want to play early, but that isn't a big factor because anywhere I go, I know that there are going to be guys who are older in front of me competing with me."

Last week, Prosser headed to Milwaukee to take in the McDonald's All American Game in Milwaukee and catch-up with a few friends playing in the game.

"The McDonalds game was pretty cool. I played with Tyler Zeller in AAU and I also played with Luke Babbitt at the Adidas Camp this past summer, so I got to spend some time with them," Prosser said.

Prosser hopes that next spring he will have the opportunity to be selected in the game and get that same experience first-hand.
