Four-star forward makes another Iowa visit

With his junior season in the books, four star forward Jordan Prosser made his second trip to Iowa City for a basketball game on Saturday and his interest in Iowa continues to grow.

"This is my second trip here for a game and it was fun. I have some friends who go to school here, so I got to spend time with them and watch the game. It was a great time," he said.

The 2009 prospect is ranked by Rivals.com as a Top 100 player and he likes the sales pitch being offered by the Hawkeye coaching staff.

"Iowa has been telling me that I can come in and play right away," Prosser said after the game. "I like the coaches a lot and I can really see myself playing in the system that they run. I think it really fits my style of play."

This past season at Eureka High School in Illinois, Prosser averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds a game, but their season recently came to an end in a two point loss in sectional play. While the loss was not what he was hoping for from this season, it is giving him a chance to make a few more visits. At this point, three schools standout in his eyes.

"I like Iowa a a lot," he said. "I also like Wisconsin and Purdue. Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana have offered, but I really don't know what their situation is right now."

With the AAU season just around the corner, Prosser, who plays for Indiana Elite, wants to start to narrow the field of schools he will consider and possibly make a decision in the coming months.

"I am going to sit down with my dad next week and try and figure things out. Then I am going to try and take a few more visits and narrow it down," Prosser said. "I might make it before the summer AAU starts or it could be halfway through AAU. I know I want to make it before my senior year starts for sure."
