Releford has sights set on a state championship

Travis Releford is hoping his final season at Bishop Miege High School is a very memorable one. After advancing to the state semifinals as a junior, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound shooting guard from Shawnee Mission, Kan., is hoping to take things a step further this time around, as Releford is focused on capturing a State Championship. The four-star prospect spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his season and the expectations he has for himself and his teammates.

Travis Releford, the No. 70 ranked player in the class of 2008, has seen his fair share of ups and downs throughout his prep career. It all started when the four-star prospect ultimately decided to leave Central Senior High School for Bishop Miege midway though his sophomore year.
