Foul trouble derails Green in loss to Arthur Hill

SAGINAW - As rivalries go none is hotter in the state of Michigan right now then Saginaw and Saginaw Arthur Hill.

The two Saginaw powers hooked up Monday night at Saginaw High School and the result was not what basketball fans across the state were expecting. Arthur Hill, led by senior swingman [db]Latreze Mushatt[/db] and sophomore point guard [db]Maurice Jones[/db] pulled the upset by defeating Saginaw 63-56.

Saginaw, the defending Class A state champions and currently ranked No. 1 in the state in Class A, entered the game with an 8-0 record. The Trojans, led by Michigan State signee Draymond Green and Bradley recruit Daniel West, came out fired out but quickly fell victim to an early Arthur Hill run that gave the Lumberjacks control of the game.
