Bzdelik comments on '08 class for first time
The letters of intent are all signed, sealed and delivered. Coach Jeff Bzdelik used all five of the Buffaloes' available scholarships for the Class of 2008 during the early signing period.
Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek power forward Trey Eckloff was CU's first verbal pledge from the class. At 6-foot-9, 220-pounds, he will add much needed size to the Buffaloes' roster next year. He also has a skill set that should allow him to be successful in Bzdelik's system.
The Buffs' top rated signee is Toby Veal. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound standout from Savannah (Ga.) Johnson is a Rivals150 member and is ranked among the nation's top 40 power forward prospects from the 2008 class. He chose CU over scholarship offers from Colorado State, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee, UNLV, Virginia Tech and Auburn.
