Pitt lands Texan

Jamie Dixon and his coaching staff rounded out their recruiting Class of 2009 by landing forward Dwight Miller (6' 8"220) from Houston, Texas.

The staff had received earlier commitments from guard Travon Woodall from St Anthony's, guard Ashton Gibbs from Seton Hall Prep and small forward Nasir Robinson from Chester, Pa.

Dwight Miller was recruited to Pitt by assistant coach Tom Herrion. Miller had offers from several schools but at the end it came down to two Big East schools in a battle between Pitt and Rutgers.
