Will Cats make move on Texas forward?
Kentucky basketball has been here before. Wednesday's news that Chris Singleton has decided to play for Florida State may have left some Wildcat fans feeling like "always the bridesmaid, never a bride," but the UK staff doesn't have time to lament the loss.
In fact, the Cats may have already turned their attention to one of the few remaining talented big men available in the Class of 2008. One such candidate that is still undecided is Dwight Miller, the Houston (Texas) St. Pius X power forward ranked three stars by Rivals.com. Miller has been receiving a lot of attention from northeast schools, but now says a relationship with Kentucky is starting to form.
Billy Gillispie has apparently known about Miller for a long time. "When he was coach at Texas A&M, he liked me and recruited me," Miller said. "So when he went to Kentucky, he continued the relationship. He said he wanted me to check Kentucky out. But we're just getting started. I want to see how this relationship builds before I commit to a visit or anything like that."
