Seeley signs with the Bears

Modesto (Calif.) Christian two-guard D.J. Seeley is now bound for Cal. The standout playmaker and No. 53 ranked Rivals national hoops prospect transferred high schools during his junior year, but will be staying in Northern California for his college basketball career - something Cal fans everywhere will be ecstatic about. With versatile scoring skills and top-notch athleticism, Seeley is simply one smooth prospect.

Seeley has an above average ability in attacking the basket, but is also smart enough to take what the defense gives him. He handles the ball well for a true scoring guard, and will undoubtedly initiate the offensive from time to time during his college basketball career at Cal.

He'll team up with Portland (Ore.) Sunset high school point guard Garrett Sim in the 2008 Cal recruiting class. Both prospects will add a lot of depth to the current Golden Bear roster, and could push for starting positions immediately.

Seeley spoke out about his commitment in our previously released Rivals Videography feature, which can be viewed by following this link;
