VA forward visits Owls

After reeling in a highly-regarded 2007 recruiting class, Temple men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy and his staff are in the midst of evaluating and hosting prospects for the class of 2008.

OwlScoop.com has learned that Dunphy got a visit from Chris Cooper, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, Va., this past weekend.

After receiving interest from mostly low- to mid-major programs, Cooper's stock is said to be on the rise. Along with Temple and much of the Atlantic 10, programs like Virginia, Clemson and Pittsburgh have started to take a look at Cooper as well.
