Edwards enjoys visit

For many years the Nike Hoops Jamboree has been a proving ground for underclassmen all across the country. The state of Ohio especially has had players explode onto the national radar at the event. Three years ago it was Kosta Koufos, two years ago Kenny Frease, and this past summer it was Bill Edwards. With that strong performance, Edwards has garnered a lot of attention.

It was an interesting summer for Edwards. He came into the spring looking stronger and heavier than ever, and even weighed in at 239 pounds in June. For a player noted for his athleticism, it was surprising to see him get as big as he did. With that being said, Edwards advanced skill and feel for the game was on full display, and was named as one of the top performers at the Hoops Jamboree.

According to Edwards he is working out with a trainer that has put him on a vigorous workout program.
