Breshers Decommits Heads West Instead

Earlier in the month, Tyreese Breshers of Los Angeles (CA) decided to commit to Miami (FL) over Boston College, Washington St. and Washington. After some more careful consideration with his family and coaches, Breshers had a change of heart and committed to the University of Washington instead.

"After I committed to Miami, my family and I talked more about it. They wanted me to stay closer to home. I decided late last week and called Coach Romar to let him know that I'm going to Washington."

When asked why he had made his decision to re-commit right away as opposed to waiting, Breshers responded by saying, "Washington was always my second choice and Coach Romar was always my favorite coach. So after my family and I rethought the decision, I was only thinking about Washington, no other schools."

Breshers went on to say, "I still like Miami a lot. They were one of the first schools to recruit me and I appreciate that. It came down to a family decision to be closer to home."
