Chaney sees stock explode after RBK U

While the changes to the July shoe camps were more in name only than in reality, one of the major differences is that less kids were invited. Because of that not many prospects saw their stock soar because of a breakout performance on the summer's biggest stage. One kid however who did blow up was Allan Chaney.

At the RBK U event in Philadelphia, over 100 prospects were participating, and many of them were some of the biggest names in high school basketball. Chaney however was not known to many people outside of the northeast.

The Buckeyes are just one of many schools trying to get into the picture with Chaney. Outside of OSU, Florida, Connecticut, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Pitt, and Texas A&M have begun recruiting Chaney since RBK U. Those schools joined an already impressive list of Providence, Fordham, Boston College, Seton Hall, St. John's, Massachusetts, and Marist.
