Darius Miller Not Rushing Things
For many prospects, the July period is the chance to prove to college coaches that they're good enough to warrant a scholarship. For high-profile players such as Maysville, Ky., swingman Darius Miller, the summer is more about measuring yourself against top-competition than worrying about what sort of impression you're making with college coaches.
That's because just about every high-major program in the nation has already decided that Miller (6-foot-6, 215 pounds) has the potential to be something special at the next level. The need to prove himself in gyms packed with recruiters doesn't exist for him like it does a lot of peers, but to watch Miller play this summer, it's clear that he doesn't need any extra motivation on the court.
