Tyreke has a reaction to Samuels' decision

It will be a busy next few weeks for Aston (Pa.) American Christian School shooting guard Tyreke Evans. The 6-5 prospect will head to Colorado Springs next week to participate in the USA Basketball Men's Youth Development Festival. He's also accepted an invitation to participate in the 2007 USA Basketball U19 World Championship Team Trials on June 28-30 in Dallas.

The FIBA U19 team trials will be used to select the finalists for the USA Basketball U19 World Championship Team. Besides Evans, players like Michael Beasley, Patrick Beverly, David Lighty, Tajuan Porter and Raymar Morgan are among the other 19 participants fighting for their chance to participate on the team that will play in the World Championships July 12-22 in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Following his workouts with Team USA, Evans will have some trips to take and a decision to make. He has had the same group of teams that he is considering for some time and a decision is expected to take place next fall.

Schools under consideration include Louisville, UConn, Villanova, Memphis, Georgia Tech, Texas and Florida.
