Several Changes For Liggins

When Jayhawk Slant last spoke to DeAndre Liggins, five schools had emerged as the teams to beat for the 6-foot-5, 190-pound point guard from Washington High School in Chicago, Ill. Linggins, the No. 18 ranked player in the class of 2008, is still high on high schools, but according to the five-star prospect, his list has changed. Liggins spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his ranking and the five schools that currently occupy the top of his list.

Because of his performance on the court, Liggins, a five-star prospect, emerged as one of the most heavily recruited players in the class.

Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, Miami (Fla.), Purdue and Virginia extended scholarship offers to the extremely talented and gifted point guard.
