Breshers Making Some Waves

UCLA is looking for a big man to fill out its recruiting class for 2008, and with top priority Drew Gordon appearing to be headed elsewhere, the Bruin coaching staff may feel the need to step up its recruitment of another California kid, this one from Price High in Los Angeles.

Tyreese Breshers is a 6-foot-7, 240 pound power forward in the mold of Craig Smith, the former Fairfax High star who went on to achieve All-America status at Boston College under Al Skinner.

Breshers may be undersized, but his athleticism, long arms and scoring ability down low make up for the deficiency, but is it enough for Ben Howland and company to offer the young man a precious scholarship to UCLA?
