Brown takes Big 12 visit

Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial guard J'Covan Brown is hard to miss on the court. The 6-3, 190 combo guard has been in the spotlight his whole high school career.

As a freshman he emerged on the scene at Beaumont (Texas) Kelly after averaging over 20 points a game for the TAPPS Div. I State Champions. He followed up his freshman year with another TAPPS title as a sophomore. Then in 2006-07 he moved to Port Arthur Memorial and led the Titans to a 29-5 record and the state playoffs, before falling to Pasadena Dobie.

Brown has also been a fixture on the AAU scene playing for some of the top teams in Texas. This summer, Brown is playing with the talent packed T-MAC All-Stars, and again is off and running.
