Tubby watches Brommer, 43 Hoops at Kingwood

Chris Carr's 43 Hoops Basketball Club finished in the semi-finals of the Gold Division in this weekend's Kingwood Classic and Minnesota coach Tubby Smith was present watching six of the seven games 43 played in. Smith watched Gopher commit Andrew Brommer, smooth two-guard Anthony Tucker, and Sedrick McBounds and Tarell Clark, a pair that has caught the attention of D-Is.

In pool play 43 Hoops defeated the Alaska Stars 79-58 and then beat the San Antonio Roadrunners 69-47. They moved on to tournament play where Carr's team defeated the New Mexico Force, Team Takeover, Next Level Australia and the Broward Bobcats Elite before falling to the Mac Irvin Fire in the semi-finals. This tournament had 63 teams and 43 Hoops finished amongst the Final Four.

The leaders of this 43 Hoops team for three years have been Anthony Tucker and Tarell Clark and once again this pair was on top of their game. "Anthony and Tarell played absolutely amazing," said coach Carr.
