Warren's recruitment wide open

North Crowley junior shooting guard Willie Warren isn't one to shy away from competition. In fact, he relished it. Playing for Team Texas at the Kingwood Classic proved that about Warren's game.

In a first round game against Martin Brothers Select Warren beat defenders off the dribble, hit some big 3-pointers and rattled the rim with spectacular dunks.

With college coaches and scouts from around the nation looking on, including Texas A&M head coach Mark Turgeon, Warren gave them a lot to think about.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Rivals.com five-star propects has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Texas, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, Maryland, Indiana, Syracuse, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Baylor, UCONN, Cincinnati, Florida and Indiana among others.
