Introducing Jerry Brown

When you are young and a lot of expectations are thrown your direction, some people crumble under the pressure. That has not been the case with Jerry Brown, a 6-foot-6 sophomore wing forward from Sacred Heart Cathedral High School in San Francisco (Calif.).

High expectations were thrown at Brown after his freshmen year in High School. Led by Jerrelle Wilson, who is now playing at San Jose State, Brown along with fellow 6-foot-5 sophomore Kevin Greene, and other teammates helped the team reach California Division IV state title game, which ended in a loss to Horizon out of San Diego.

Despite his struggles this past year, Brown is still a heavy item with college recruiters. He is hearing from Cal, Texas, Louisville, Washington, Arizona and UNLV, and various other schools are interested in his services.
