Three schools top short list for Frease

In some ways, it was a long junior season for Kenny Frease. The 6-foot-11, 255-pound center sat with a wrist injury for much of the season, and soon after returning to the court he suffered two fractures in the orbital bone of his right eye.

In other ways, it was a very short season, as the injuries limited Frease to only 12 games.

But it was also a successful season, as Frease helped Massillon (Ohio) Perry reach the district championship game for only the fourth time in school history. Now he turns his attention to a recruiting decision he hopes to make in June. As it stands, Kentucky, Notre Dame, and Xavier are the top three contenders.
