Releford putting everything together

After somewhat of a slow start, Travis Releford, the 6-foot-4, 185-pound shooting guard from Bishop Miege High School in Shawnee Mission, Kan., is showing signs of being the player that many expected at the beginning of the year. The No. 50 ranked player in the class of 2008 is playing his best basketball of the year, and big-time college basketball programs continue to take notice. Jayhawk Slant is here to provide you with the latest update on Releford, a four-star prospect.

Much like Bishop Miege High School, Releford, the No. 8 ranked shooting guard in the class of 2008, struggled throughout much of his junior campaign. The move from Central Senior High School to Bishop Miege High School hasn't gone quite as expected for the four-star prospect, but Releford is starting to show signs of being the player that many expected at the beginning of the year.
