ACC team to beat for Mitchell?

Averaging 30 points a game in his senior year, Florida forward Alvin Mitchell is a hot target for a number of high-major programs late in the process. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound wing from Cardinal Gibbons High School has a host of programs hot on his trail.

Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, St. John's and Cincinnati remain as the five top schools in the race for Mitchell, according to Mitchell's AAU coach Kenny Gillion. Florida, Missouri and Purdue are also looking.
