Three at the top

After an impressive showing at the National Prep Showcase in late November, Troy Gillenwater, the 6-foot-8, 225-pound power forward from Stoneridge Prep School has become one of the most talked about recruits in the class of 2008. The No. 56 ranked player in the class has a long list of suitors interested in his services, but it appears that three programs have emerged as the teams to beat in his recruitment.

Arizona, Illinois, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and Texas are just a few of the high-major programs that continue to express an interest in Gillenwater.

However, three schools in particular have emerged as the teams to beat for Gillenwater: Kansas, Oklahoma State and USC.
