Walsh talks Terps visit

Brian Walsh got to get up-close-and-personal with the Terps on his third visit to campus this weekend.

Literally.

Walsh was so swept up in the excitement after the Terps knocked off Clemson, the nation's last undefeated team, on Saturday at the Comcast Center that he ran off the floor with the players, through the tunnel and into the locker room as the game ended.

"It was so cool because all the fans were cheering and screaming and stuff so I felt like I was a tiny little part of that," the 6-4 junior sharpshooter from Pittsburgh said.

Walsh arrived to town with his family at 11:30 AM, took another tour of campus, and then arrived at their Comcast Center seats behind the bench area a little before tip-off. He was accompanied by his parents and his girlfriend, who has applied for admission to Maryland.
