Junior center enjoys visit for UK game

Kentucky's hot-shooting 82-68 victory over UMass did much to calm the nerves of an anxious fanbase, but its greatest impact may be felt in recruiting.

The nation's No. 27 junior, Philip Jurick was there for a firsthand look at what Kentucky has to offer. Jurick, a 6-foot-10, 250-pound power forward who uses athleticism and effort to dominate on defense and on the boards, said the trip gave Kentucky a little recruiting boost.

Jurick's list of scholarship offers consists of Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Miami (Fla.), Wisconsin, Auburn, Clemson and Ole Miss.
