Time to sign

Bill Walker is already in, and by the end of the day Kansas State expects to have the signatures of arguably the top collection of talent in country for the Class of 2007. Michael Beasley, Rivals.com's No. 1-rated prospect, as well as three-star rated recruits Dominique Sutton, Jacob Pullen and Fred Brown are set to ink with Coach Bob Huggins' program today, the first day recruits are able to sign national letters of intent.

Here's a quick look at the players K-State is set to add to its ranks, including Walker, who signed a financial aid agreement that will allow him to be eligible to play this season starting with a Dec. 17 game against Kennesaw State in Manhattan.

The book on Beasley: Previously ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect for the Class of 2007, Beasley was elevated to the top spot after a number of fantastic performances on the summer circuit. An extremely versatile player either on the wing or in the low post, Beasley has drawn many comparisons to former Syracuse standout and current Denver Nuggets' All Star Carmelo Anthony. Has averaged at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in all three of his prep seasons and was drawn to Manhattan in part because of a close personal relationship with Wildcat assistant Dalonte Hill.
