Grady goes for 350+ in EGR win

Watching East Grand Rapids (Mich.) tailback Kelvin Grady run roughshod over Fruitport in the Pioneer's 44-13 win Friday night, you could not help but be optimistic about the 5-11, 170-pound back's potential at the Divison 1 level. Problem is, according to Grady, that potential will likely never be realized.

Also a point guard on East Grand Rapids' basketball team, Grady accepted a scholarship to Michigan to play basketball, but also had an offer from the Wolverines to play football. His original plans were to play both sports at the college level, but now, even in the midst of football season, Grady is thinking about walking away from the gridiron for good.
