Texas on his mind

Anthony Jones has had an interesting couple of years on the high school level. As a freshman, the 6-foot-9, 185-pound small forward was starter on a very good Milby High team averaging nearly 10 points per game. A transfer before his sophomore season created a unique situation for Jones. Due to UIL and Houston Independent School District transfer rules, Jones had to play his sophomore season on the Yates junior varsity.

The first program to offer the talented wing was the Arizona Wildcats in late May. Since that time, Jones has received four more offers from Baylor, USC, Arizona State and Miami.
