The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder has long-standing ties to the hardwood, as his father, Nate McMillan, starred at N.C. State in the 80's before spending nearly two decades with the Seattle Supersonics. McMillan is now the head coach for the NBA's Portland Trailblazers.

N.C. State, Arizona State, Clemson and Georgia Tech are the top suitors for the prized guard, as he told Tigerillustrated.com in a Friday interview.

"We hope to come down to Clemson in September for an official visit. I've only got that one planned so far," McMillan said. "I will go to Arizona State somewhere in September, too. My dad has never been there."

McMillan said his father was recruited by the Tigers out of high school, and is familiar with Clemson through his days in the conference.
