Howard sticking to his plan
With there being no credible reason to believe that either player will act quickly, Purdue's recruiting board for 2007 appears down to two: Scott Martin and Matt Howard.
Both in-state rising seniors have had Boilermaker offers on the table since well before JaJuan Johnson, E'twaun Moore and Robbie Hummel committed to occupying 75 percent of Coach Matt Painter's '07 class.
Now, there's only one spot left, setting up an apparent situation where the first man who wants the scholarship, gets the scholarship. That said, neither player has expressed any sort of sense of urgency, nor have they given any indication that Purdue might be their front-runner.
