Howard reflects on a busy June

One player who has really seen his recruitment explode since the month of April is Matt Howard. He was considered solely a mid-major prospect, but now he is one of the top 100 players in the country. Howard used the time off he had in June to take a visit to all of the schools giving him heavy consideration.

"I think that I might have been home all of two days. I was gone all the time. I had all stars and everything. There was no AAU or anything; it was just high school and team camps and stuff," Howard said about his experience in June.

The highlight of the busy month for Howard was playing with the Indiana Junior All Stars. Howard was named as one of the six core players which meant he played in all three all star games. When asked about the games, Howard said, "It was unbelievable playing with maybe one of the best players in the nation right now, Eric Gordon. He is a phenomenal player, JaJuan, playing with the best juniors in the state and playing against the best seniors in the state, minus Greg (Oden). It was fun."
