MDC Review: Singler All Heart

Kyle Singler was easily one of the top players, if not the top player, at the Nike Memorial Day Classic. It didn't matter if the 6-foot-8, 210-pound combo forward from South Medford (OR) High School was scoring from the outside or banging down low, he found a way to get the job done for his Portland Legends team. After watching Singler for much of the weekend, it is easy to see why he is considered to be such a high-major prospect.

Singler, the No. 6 ranked player in the class of 2007, was one of the most impressive players at the MDC. He showed the ability to consistently score from the outside did damage in the low post area, scored from the baseline and took the ball coast-to-coast for lay-ups.
