Shootout’s championship pits Hoya targets

May 23, 2006 - Yesterday, five present or past Georgetown-recruited athletes competed in the Triple Threat Shootout's championship game. Chris Braswell, Adrian Bowie, Sean Mosely, Donte Green, and Jeff Jones all played well, favorably impacting the game for their respective teams, Triple Threat and Team Melo.

At the final buzzer, Triple Threat walked away with a 53-50 victory in the championship game. Braswell, Bowie, and Jones suited up for Triple Threat, while Team Melo boasted Mosely and Green.

Braswell, a 2008 forward, scored 12 points, while nabbing multiple rebounds. Braswell scored on a variety of moves, including a couple of turn-around jumpers, stickbacks, and even a jump-hook, while his mobility allowed him to draw fouls. The young guy has expressed an interest in G'Town since his freshman season, and as previously reported by HoyaReport.com, benefited greatly from his transfer last season to DeMatha Catholic High school - both on the court and in the classroom. It's clear that his academic and hoops focus/intensity have increased.
