Wright names top school

Chris Wright entered the spring evaluation period as the top target for a number of high-major programs. Since de-committing from NC State the five-star guard fielded interest from nearly every elite level school looking for a floor general. Now that the spring period is over, the 6-foot point guard from Washington D.C.'s St. John's College High School has a favorite going into the summer.

When Herb Sendek left NC State for Arizona State, Wright was left to look for a new collegiate home. After listening to pitches from coast to coast, Wright told Rivals.com that one Big East school stands out the most.

"Georgetown - they are my leader right now," Wright said. "I haven't closed the door on anyone but I like what Georgetown has to offer. I met with their coaches recently and as of right now, they are the place I feel the most comfortable with. I like their players and their staff. Plus, their system is a lot like NC State's old system."
