Releford set to practice

Travis Releford can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It all started when the 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard/small forward decided to leave Central Senior High School for Bishop Miege midway through his sophomore year.

After sitting out most of the year due to transfer rules, Releford recently dislocated his ankle. However, he is finally ready to get back out on the court and is scheduled to start practicing later today.

Releford, consider to be one of the top players in the class of 2008, decided to transfer to Bishop Miege for a variety of reasons.

It's no secret that Coach Zych has built an outstanding basketball program at Bishop Miege, but Releford's decision to transfer wasn't solely based on basketball.
